Join me in conversation with fabulous author and friend Stephen Policoff! I have known Stephen since Carter was President, when we met at a summer arts program in 1980. He was one of the Creative Writing teachers, and I was a Theater student but had a bunch of creative writer friends. We went on to teach together at that program and have stayed in touch since. He is a wonderful (and award winning!) writer, infinitely human, inventive, and hilarious. Last year we both had books published dealing with mortality, which include the humor and uncanny experiences alongside the heartbreak; we will discuss his novel DANGEROUS BLUES and my hybrid collection THE MORTALITY SHOT.
